Thorupgaard Farm Holiday

Thorupgaard is a small hobby farm with 4 hectares of land, which we started in 2008. Here on the farm, you can safely send your children out to play on the large playground. They can help feed the animals, collect eggs, play in the straw on the hayloft under the supervision of an adult, or bake pancakes over a campfire. But most of all, the children love that the family have time and energy for presence and good experiences.

We have a beautiful apartment for rent, consisting of a living room/kitchen, two bedrooms, hallway and bathroom with spa bath, double shower, washing machine and dryer. On the south-facing terrace there is a 6-person hot tub, a barbecue and garden furniture. From the terrace there is a view of the field and meadow where our cattle graze.

We also have a lovely luxury Glamping tent that can be booked all year round. There is a lovely large terrace with a hot tub, where you can enjoy the view of the fields and watch our cattle walk around.

There is also the possibility of a lovely romantic stay either in our double room or in our Meadow Cottage. The double room has its own kitchenette and bathroom/toilet. The small cottage in the meadow, is located at the southwestern part of the farm, where you can enjoy the meadow flowers when they are in bloom. From the beautiful terrace you can enjoy a glass of cold wine while you sit in the hot tub and look out over the open fields.

We also have a café and farm shop. In the farm shop you can buy local products and meat from our own cattle. In the café you can enjoy, for example, homemade food or a burger.

If you like it, Jane can cook breakfast and/or dinner, so you just have to relax while you are here, all you have to do is book it. In the summer, Henrik likes to bake pancakes over a campfire, which can be enjoyed in the “forest” with a cup of hot coffee.
