Introduction
In order for the National Association for Rural Tourism to be able to provide advice to members and customers, it is necessary to process personal data. Our personal data policy is intended as an aid to understanding which National Association for Rural Tourism collects, why we collect them and what we use them for.

Our processing of your personal data
The National Association for Agricultural Tourism processes personal information that you have provided to us in order to receive advice and association services.
Typically, this is personal information:
Name, address, telephone, e-mail
Information about your business and other professional or legal purposes
Information that can be attributed to you and / or your family
Deadlines for deletion / storage
The National Association for Rural Tourism strives to delete (or anonymize) personal information as soon as it has no relevance. However, the National Association for Agricultural Tourism always keeps them for a minimum of 5 years for the sake of the Accounting Act.
Your rights under the Personal Data Ordinance
In connection with our processing of your personal data, you have a number of rights:
- The right to receive information about how the National Association for Agricultural Tourism processes your personal information (duty to provide information).
- The right to access your personal information.
- The right to have incorrect personal information corrected.
- The right to have your personal information deleted.
- The right to object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing.
- The right to object to automatic, individual decisions, including profiling.
- The right to transfer your personal information to alternative providers (data portability).
All the above rights are handled manually by contacting our personal data controller.
The National Association for Rural Tourism may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive or require disproportionate technical measures
The National Association for Agricultural Tourism will strive to correct information unless it requires a disproportionate effort. Therefore, when personal information is deleted from our services, it is possible that we may not always delete associated copies from our archive servers immediately and it is not certain that the information will be removed from our backup systems.

Disclosure of information
The National Association for Rural Tourism does not pass on personal information to authorities, companies, organizations and individuals outside the National Association for Rural Tourism. The exception in these cases is:
- With your consent
The National Association for Agricultural Tourism only passes on personal information to companies, public authorities or individuals outside the National Association for Agricultural Tourism if we have your consent. We require active choice of disclosure of all personal information.
- For external data processing
By agreement, the National Association for Agricultural Tourism passes on personal information to our partners or other trusted companies or persons who process it for us. Their processing is based on our instructions and in accordance with our privacy policy and other applicable privacy and security measures, such as our data processor agreement.
- For legal reasons
The National Association for Agricultural Tourism passes on personal information to companies, organizations or individuals outside the National Association for Agricultural Tourism, if we in good faith believe that access, use, preservation or publication of the information is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, lawsuits or legal requests from public authorities.
- Enforce applicable terms of service, including investigation of potential violations.
- Detect, prevent or otherwise protect against fraud, security or technical issues.
- Keep the National Association for Rural Tourism from harm, our members or the rights, property or safety of the public, as required or permitted by law.
The National Association for Rural Tourism can share information that does not identify individuals with the public and our partners.
Information security
The National Association for Rural Tourism wants to secure the members against unauthorized access, alteration, publication or destruction of personal data that we store.
The National Association for Rural Tourism has implemented the following organizational and technical measures in general in the National Association for Rural Tourism:
- Antivirus systems on all IT systems that process personal data.
- Backup of all IT systems that process personal data.
- Use of industry-typical IT systems for the treatment activities.
- Restriction of access to personal data, so that access is only granted where necessary.
- Data processor agreements with suppliers who process personal data on behalf of the National Association for Agricultural Tourism.
- Confidentiality statements with staff who need to process personal data.
- Guidance in the secure processing of personal data and information assets for staff with access to information systems.
- Implementation of the above risk assessment and documentation of all systems that process personal data to ensure an informed basis for the security level for personal data processing in the National Association for Rural Tourism.
Compliance and cooperation with regulators
The National Association for Rural Tourism regularly reviews that we comply with our own personal data policy. The National Association for Rural Tourism also adheres to several self-regulating safety policies. When we receive formal written complaints, we contact the sender to follow up on the complaint. The National Association for Rural Tourism cooperates with the relevant legislative authorities, e.g. The Danish Data Protection Agency, to resolve complaints about the transfer of personal data that we can not resolve directly with our users.
Changes
The National Association for Agricultural Tourism’s privacy policy may change from time to time. The National Association of Agricultural Tourism does not limit your rights under this Privacy Policy without your express consent. Any changes to this privacy policy are stated on this page, and if significant changes occur, the National Association for Agricultural Tourism will draw attention to them in a more conspicuous way (for certain services, we inform about changes via e-mail).
